Music Video Edit 1

My first edit is an arrangement of the clips I managed to capture on my first day of filming. In this sequence the music I am using has not been inserted yet and the sound from the original clips is still intact.

In order to begin the editing process, I used the software Final Cut Pro on a Mac. I firstly had to take all of the clips of the SD card that I had used and place them in my files, which is a simply copy and paste.

I then created a new project in final cut and named it Music Video, so that I knew where I kept all my files and could return to the work I had done previously at a later date.

The second step I took in this process was importing all of my clips into my new project by selecting File > Import > Media...

This brings up a box in which I can select which clips I want to import. To make things easier for myself I imported all of the clips I had with the plan to upload the music and remove or cut down any unwanted footage.

I then selected all of my clips by clicking and dragging over the ones I wanted and then dragging them down into my timeline to begin editing.
